Who's behind Equinox Bookkeeping?
Hi there, I'm Eve Newman
I’m a former newspaper reporter who has pivoted to the bookkeeping and tax world, taking my problem-solving skills, curiosity and eye for detail into the numbers realm.
I have certifications in QuickBooks and Xero, and training in Federal Election Commission regulations and reporting rules. I’m also an Enrolled Agent who’s authorized by the IRS to represent and advise taxpayers.
I enjoy working with small businesses, property managers, non-profit organizations and political candidates in Laramie, Wyoming, and remotely.

I am treasurer for a small non-profit organization, and Equinox Bookkeeping has been a great resource, allowing us to better plan and track our spending, helping with required documentation, and providing financial continuity when there is board turnover. Eve is great to work with; she responds quickly to questions, and easily adapts to budgetary shifts. We are so happy to have her helping us with our finances, so that we have more time to focus on our projects!
